Hybrid Eucalyptus

Our reforestation projects leverage a specialised hybrid eucalyptus tree to deliver fast growth while maintaining timber quality.

Our Unique Attributes

What makes our trees extra special is their ability to grow and thrive in poor soil conditions. This allows us to reforest otherwise unusable land. Our hybrids also produce almost no oil during their lifetime – drastically reducing overall fire risk.

Our trees have been specially bred for an incredible rate of growth:
5-7m per year!

In addition, high levels of pest resistance and overall hardiness come standard. What’s more, the quality of our timber make our trees very desirable within both domestic and international lumber markets.

REFORESTATION OF FALLOW LANDS

All of our reforestation projects operate solely on overused and otherwise unusable land. Absolutely no fertile rainforest or native fauna are negatively impacted. In fact, our reforestation process naturally adds essential nutrients to the soil which ensures that surrounding native plant species have the ability to proliferate.

COMMITMENT TO NATIVE REGENERATION

Our projects work to preserve and regenerate the native forest areas that border our eucalyptus plantations. Our operations partner, La Rivera S.A. has a proven track record of successful large-scale regeneration efforts and are a leading voice in Paraguay when it comes to best practises for rainforest preservation.
